Police ID Man Found Stabbed To Death In Vehicle In Fairfield County Police have identified a man who was stabbed to death inside a vehicle in Fairfield County with multiple stab wounds. Fairfield County resident Jimmy Louis, age 43, was found inside the vehicle around 1 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19 on Hamilton Avenue in Stamford, authorities said. Suffolk County Police officers responded just after 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18, in Holtsville. According to investigators, a man driving 2021 Kia lost control and drove through two fences and bushes and crashed into the porch of a house located on the 1100 block of North Ocean Avenue. The man and an adult female passenger were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. The Brookhaven Town Building Inspector responded to evaluate the structure.

The incident took place overnight on Thursday, Aug. 19 in Springfield on Roosevelt Avenue which is known for flooding, according to the Springfield Fire Department. The rescue comes as flash flooding is taking place throughout Western Massachusetts due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred.
