Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man, 33, Killed In Two-Vehicle Sagtikos Parkway Crash One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Sagtikos Parkway. Darius Eley, age 21, of Islip, was traveling southbound, in the right lane, around 9:40 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, at approximately 9:39 pm, when his vehicle, a 2010 Nissan Altima, was struck by a 1995 Nissan 240SX driven by Jaime Coriano, age 33, of East Patchogue, state police said. The Southampton Town Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for the man who has residences in both Hampton Bays and Massapequa. Fairfield County Woman Arrested For Impersonating Officer, Fleeing Police At Capitol Checkpoint A Connecticut woman has been accused of impersonating a police officer at a Capitol security checkpoint put in place for the Presidential Inauguration.
