Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Numerous Crashes Reported On Slick Westchester Roadways This story has been updated. Numerous motor vehicle crashes were reported in the Lower Hudson Valley on Sunday afternoon amid the latest winter storm to hit the area. A pickup truck overturned on eastbound I-287 in White Plains, landing on the side of the roadway just after noon. No injuries were reported. A separate crash occurred on I-287, this one at 1:45 p.m. and on the westbound side, at the Sprain Brook Parkway interchange (Exit 3). SUV Skids Off Icy Road, Strikes House In Hillcrest ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The driver of an SUV lost control on an icy roadway in Hillcrest and struck a house on Ward Lane on Sunday morning, Ramapo Police said. Police are at the scene of the incident in which the SUV slid across a homeowner's front lawn. There were no injuries and very little damage, police said, noting that the incident highlight just how dangerous driving in these conditions can be. Woman Dies In Fire That Destroys Hopewell Junction Home A 52-year-old woman died in a fire Saturday night that destroyed a home at 374 Augusta Drive in Hopewell Junction, East Fishkill Police said. Emergency responders rushed to the scene of the fire shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday and found the house to be fully consumed by fire when they arrived, police said.
