MILLBROOK, N.Y. – Barbara M. Huard, of Millbrook, formerly of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, Jan. 9. She was 88.
She was born in Lawrence, Mass., Dec. 3, 1927, to Albert Perrault and Gwendolyn Fallon.
She was formerly employed in the Capital Building in Boston, Massachusetts, as a legal secretary. She enjoyed reading, playing Bridge, and most of all, her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Cynthia Huard of Bristol, Vt.; Diane Huard of Fuquay Varina, N. C.; Mark Huard of Poughkeepsie; Gwendolyn Taylor and her husband, Al, of Staatsburgh; and Eugene Huard of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; two brothers, Albert Perrault of Lawrence, Mass.; and Tom Perrault of Methuen, Mass.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Alfred E. Huard died in 1999. She also was predeceased by a brother, Teddy Perrault.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. at the Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
