TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, N.Y. – Mary Parent, a resident of the Township of Washington, died Monday, June 13. She was 86.
Before retiring, she worked for Lord and Taylor as a retail executive. She was a member of the Golden Seniors and The Contemporary Woman's Club of the Township of Washington, Old Paramus Reformed Church and the church Women's Guild in Ridgewood.
She is survived by her husband William; son Jeffrey S. Parent and his wife Patricia of Monroe.; and nieces Roberta Ingham and Ruth Sandoe.
She was predeceased by her sister Ruth Bartels.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. There will be a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Old Paramus Reformed Church, 660 E. Glen Ave., Ridgewood, N.J.
