Millbrook Man Charged With DWI After Traffic Stop

PAWLING, N.Y. – New York State Police from the Dover barracks arrested James T. Wood, 62, of Millbrook, for aggravated driving while intoxicated on Wednesday, Nov. 11, officials report.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Wood was operating on State Route 22 for failing to maintain its designated lane of travel, according to police.

Troopers interviewed the defendant and discovered that he was intoxicated at the time of the traffic stop, police report.

Wood provided police with a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication, according to officials.

Wood was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Pawling Court on December 3, police report.
