The incident took place on Friday, Oct. 27 when the Town of Poughkeepsie Police responded to a building on Lagrange Avenue in Arlington to investigate damage to a front door, said Capt. Ken Roman.

Upon arrival, the officer was approached by a woman who was pointing to a vehicle which was just leaving the scene as the patrol vehicle was arriving.

The woman identified the occupants of the vehicle as the subjects that had just entered the building and attacked one of the tenants, Roman said.

The vehicle was located a short distance away. The occupants, including Prince Wanya Oglesby, 21, of Wappingers Falls, Dwayne Elijah Joyner, of Poughkeepsie, and Hezekiah Rawlins Philliip, 25, of Wappingers Falls, were detained and transported to police headquarters for further investigation.
