Tolls for the George Washington Bridge and other bridges and tunnels connecting New Jersey with New York go up again on Sunday.
E-ZPass users will pay $10.25 during peak hours (up from $9.50) and $8.25 during non-peak hours (from $7.50).
Cash payers have to fork over an extra buck, to $13.
The new tolls go into effect on the George, the Lincoln and Holland tunnels, the Goethals and Bayonne bridges and the Outerbridge Crossing.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says it needs the additional money to shore up a crumbling infrastructure and to finance rebuilding of the World Trade Center
By the way: Another hike is scheduled for a year from tomorrow.
