The dictionary is getting a major update for the internet age.
Merriam-Webster has added 1,400 new words and definitions to its online dictionary, the Springfield, Massachusetts-based publisher announced on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The latest batch includes terms tied to artificial intelligence, social media, dating, food, music, and internet culture.

Several Hand Soaps Recalled Over Bacterial Contamination Risk
Several hand soaps distributed across the Northeast are being recalled because they may be contaminated with bacteria.
Intercon Chemical Co. issued the voluntary recall for six hand soap products, according to a Food and Drug Administration enforcement report classified on Friday, Sept. 11.
The soaps were distributed through wholesalers and a retailer in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. They were also available in North Carolina, Mississippi, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Georgia, California, Illinois, Iowa, Texas, and Washington.

A Virginia father helped get his five children ready for school on Wednesday, Sept. 9, hugged his family goodbye, and headed to his construction job.
