Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times. 

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Alert Issued For 91-Year-Old Robbery/Grand Larceny Suspect Wanted In Area The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is calling on the public to help find a 91-year-old man who is wanted for third-degree robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny.  Angel Narvaez, who also goes by Angel Mercado, Miguel Narvaez, Narvaez Mercado and Anibal Santiago, stands at 5-foot-5 and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a scar above his left eye.  Narvaez's last known residences were in Crookston, Minnesota, and Staten Island. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff's Department at 845-225-4300.

Man Wanted For Stealing $985 Worth Of Items From Long Island Macy's Police are looking for a man who was caught stealing three Michael Kors handbags, valued at $985, on the surveillance footage of a Long Island Macy's. The unidentified man stole the three handbags from the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, Suffolk County Police said. Anyone who recognizes the pictured man or knows of his whereabouts will receive a cash reward from Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, who can be contacted online, using the P3Tips mobile app or at 800-220-TIPS.

Woman Accused Of Stealing $140K From Employer In Area, State Police Say A woman working as an assistant in an office overseeing payroll and bookkeeping allegedly stole over $140,000 from her former employer and tampered with their website after she was terminated, according to state police.  Samantha E. Manetta of Red Hook, 31, was charged on Tuesday, Oct. 6 with the felonies of second-degree grand larceny and second-degree computer tampering.  Manetta will be sentenced in November in the town of Rhinebeck Court.

Man, Dog Struck, Killed By Train In Area An oncoming train killed a man and his dog in the area, police said.  The two were both found dead in Orange County on the train tracks in the area of South Water Street and Renwick Street by City of Newburgh police at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
