Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times. 

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Woman Seriously Injured After Being Struck By SUV On Long Island A 67-year-old woman suffered severe head injuries after she was struck by a car while crossing an intersection on Long Island. The driver, a 59-year-old woman, was reportedly operating a 2013 Honda DRV, according to Nassau County Police, traveling Northbound on New Hyde Park Road in New Hyde Park at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8.  Police said that the victim was brought to a local hospital via ambulance while the driver waited for police at the scene. According to detectives, an investigation into this incident is still ongoing.

Shooting Injuring Two Under Investigation In Norwalk Two were struck by bullet fragments in a yet-unsolved Norwalk shooting.  Police were called to the intersection of Woodward Avenue near Grove Street on Monday, Sept. 7 at approximately 5:15 p.m. Two bystanders had been struck by bullet fragments -- one denied medical attention, and the other was brought to Norwalk Hospital for treatment then released, police said. Fairfield County Man Drove Drunk With BAC Twice Limit, Police Say A man who committed multiple vehicle and traffic violations was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the legal limit, according to state police. Fairfield County resident Javier Gonzalez, of Danbury, 56, was pulled over in Rockland County at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, in Clarkstown, according to state police.  Gonzalez was charged with the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with several violations.  He was released to a sober third party, and will appear in the Town of Clarkstown court next month.
