18-Year-Old Accused Of Hitting, Grabbing Victim By Neck In Fairfield County An 18-year-old woman from Fairfield County is facing charges after authorities said she grabbed a victim by the neck during an argument. The Darien Police Department reported that Valeria Henao, of Darien, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree strangulation in the Friday, Jan. 21, incident. Fairfield County Man Sentenced For Dealing Fentanyl, Heroin A Fairfield County man has been sentenced for possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl. Anthony Gilchrist, age 32, of Bridgeport, was sentenced on Wednesday, Jan. 26, to 37 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, according to Leonard Boyle, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. Doctor In Fairfield County Admits To Illegally Prescribing Controlled Substances A 62-year-old Fairfield County man has admitted to illegally distributing prescription medication. David Ciancimino, of Trumbull, pleaded guilty on Monday, Jan. 24, to one count of distribution of a controlled substance without a legitimate medical purpose and outside the scope of professional practice, according to Leonard Boyle, the United States attorney for the District of Connecticut.
