Police Cruiser Flips After Crash In CT: Both Drivers Sent To Hospital Two people, including a police officer, were hospitalized following a crash that left the officer's cruiser flipped on a busy New London County road.  The incident happened on Wednesday, June 28 just after 9 a.m. in Waterford at the intersection of Richards Grove Road and Route 32, according to Waterford Police.  Both drivers were taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital with minor injuries suffered as a result of the crash, police said. No passengers were in either of the involved cars.  The collision is now under investigation.

Person Hospitalized After Car Slams Into Pole In Somers A person was sent to the hospital after their vehicle smashed into a pole in Northern Westchester, snapping it completely.  The incident happened on Wednesday, June 28 around 8:45 a.m., when firefighters in Somers were sent to Amawalk Road, where a car had crashed into a pole, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.  Once crews arrived at the scene, they found wires hanging from the damaged pole, which had been snapped by the impact.
