Car Goes Up In Flames In Port Jervis Neighborhood A car went up in flames in an Orange County neighborhood, prompting a fast response from firefighters.  The blaze happened in Port Jervis on Tuesday night, April 23, when a vehicle caught fire in the area of 171 Jersey Ave., according to the Port Jervis Fire Department. Fire crews soon arrived at the scene and made quick work of the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not released.

4 Hospitalized In 2-Car Crash At Mahopac Intersection Four people were taken to a hospital following a two-car crash at an intersection along Route 6 in Putnam County.  The crash happened on Tuesday, April 22 just before 4:30 p.m., when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Route 6 and Mi-Anna Drive in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. The incident closed the intersection for around 40 minutes until the vehicles could be removed.  Four people were taken to a hospital for evaluation, the fire department said.
