Blue Moon Cafe Shutters Englewood Location The Blue Moon Café is shutting its doors after 27 years of serving Englewood. Owner Howard Felixbrod made the announcement on the restaurant's social media pages on Wednesday, April 19. Jersey City Building Owner Conducted Work Without Permit Days Before Blaze: Officials The owner of a Jersey City building destroyed in a four-alarm fire earlier this month has been fined by the city for conducting roof work without a permit two days before the blaze. The building at 197 Olean Ave., was one of three buildings damaged in the April 5 fire that left 17 people displaced and sent black smoke billowing across the sky. Hoboken Doctor, 28, Dies After Courageous Brain Tumor Battle Dr. Ahntu Vu, who died on Tuesday, April 18, after a diagnosis of Glioblastoma Multiforme, is being remembered for his love of the fine arts and his passion for his patients, according to his obituary. Body Recovered From Passaic River: Newark Police A body was recovered from the Passaic River in Newark on Wednesday, April 19, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. At 5 p.m., police responded to Bridge Street and McCarter Highway on a report of a body in the river, Fragé said. Firefighters, personnel from the Newark Police Emergency Services Unit and Kearney Police responded to the scene to assist with the recovery, Fragé said. NJ Lottery Winner Splits $1K A Day For Life Ticket With Lucky Tennessee Player The Garden State and The Volunteer State are coming together to split $1,000 a day for life. One New Jersey Cash4Life ticket matched the five white balls and the Cash Ball in the drawing on Tuesday, April 18. A similar ticket was also sold in Tennessee, splitting the jackpot. Gunman Nabbed In Mass Newark Shooting: Prosecutor A 42-year-old Irvington man has been arrested for the Saturday, April 15 mass shooting in Newark that left one man dead and three others injured. Antuane Gregory was arrested and charged with murder, among other charges, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II said.
