Motorcyclist, 19, Killed In Fairfax County Crash A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Arlington was killed in a Fairfax County crash, police said. Alejandro Portillo was heading east on Leesburg Pike in the left through-lane when he collided with an Acura heading west, trying to turn onto Glen Carlyn Drive around 110:10 p.m., authorities said. Portillo was hospitalized where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Acura remained on scene and was uninjured. Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have information in the crash: 703-280-0543.

Warehouse Stabbing Suspect Sought In Stafford: Sheriff Police in Stafford County are asking the public's help in locating a 22-year-old stabbing suspect. Leonard Pratt Jr., of Port Royal, was physically fighting with another man at a warehouse at Genesis Logistics on Bradburn Place around 1:40 p.m. March 8, when he pulled out a knife, the county sheriff's office said. Sterling DUI Driver Seriously Hurt In I-81 Wrong-Way Crash: State Police A DUI driver from Loudoun County was seriously hurt in an Interstate 81 crash, police said. DUI Driver Rescued From Overturned Car Insisted There Was No Accident: Stafford Sheriff A driver was rescued from her vehicle after a crash, but she insisted no crash had happened at all, authorities in Stafford said. Stabbing Suspect Charged For Early Morning Assault In Virginia: Police Police in Leesburg have made an arrest in an early-morning stabbing. Shawn Lewis, 56 of Leesburg, is believed to have stabbed a person during a fight early Monday, March 11 on the 700 block of Clark Court NE, police said. Armed Barricade Suspect Who Abducted Victim Surrenders After Hours-Long Fairfax Standoff: PD After an hours-long standoff, a barricaded man is in custody in Fairfax County, police said. Officers were called to a home on Chestnut Avenue in Mosby around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10 for a possibly-armed man who abducted and assaulted a victim, county police said. The man then refused to leave his home, prompting a standoff with police until 9:50 p.m., when he was taken into custody, police said. The victim had previously been safely removed.
