The incident originally occurred in Islandia on Wednesday, Dec. 20, according to Suffolk County Police. On that day at approximately 8 p.m., an unknown man assaulted a woman in the woods behind the Walmart located at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway. Man Nabbed For Shooting 15-Year-Old On Long Island: Police A 24-year-old Long Island man has been arrested after he allegedly shot a teenage boy at a park, police said. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 13 in Farmingdale, according to Nassau County Police. At about 5:45 p.m. that day, Terrance K. Alston was at Allen Park, located at 99 Motor Avenue, when he reportedly shot a 15-year-old teenage boy in the leg before fleeing the scene. Forty-seven people across 22 states have gotten sick with salmonella after eating the potentially contaminated meats, which are sold at Costco and Sam’s Club locations across the country, the CDC announced on Thursday, Jan. 18.
