Man Killed In Morris County Car Crash ID'ed: Police Police have identified the 65-year-old Morris Plains man who was killed after his car crashed into a tree on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 6. At 10 a.m., a vehicle, driven by John McTernan, traveling south on Littleton Road near Route 202 struck a tree in the area of Totten Way, Morris Plains police said. No other vehicles were involved, police said. McTernan was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

One Killed In Roxbury Township Fire: Prosecutors A person was killed in a structure fire in Roxbury Township on the early morning of Thursday, Feb. 8, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.  At 3:10 a.m. Firefighters responded to a residence on Raritan Avenue and recovered the remains of one individual, who has not been identified, Megan Knab, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office said.
