An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Paul Travelho, USPS Worker From Bergen County, Dies At 41 Paul Travelho, a lifelong Garfield resident, died on Tuesday, June 20, according to his obituary. Travelho spent 23 years working as a coordinator for UPS in Secaucus, his obituary reads. He is survived by his parents, Dulce and Aderito, his son, Aiden, his brother, John, and other relatives and friends, according to his obituary. Florham Park Man Fatally Shot In Newark: Prosecutors A 44-year-old Florham Park man was fatally shot in Newark on the morning of Wednesday, June 21 authorities said. At 10:33 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of Weequahic Avenue, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Police found Murad Loyal suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Stephens and Fragé said. Mom Who Ran Away With 9-Year-Old Daughter Could Be In Bergen County: Police Police in South Jersey are trying to locate a 9-year-old girl who they say was picked up by her mom in North Jersey and hasn't been returned. Athena Worthy-Miles' mom, Dasia Serrano-Worthy, picked her up from her grandmother's house on 74th Street in North Bergen on Saturday, June 17 at 2:30 p.m., police in West Deptford say. Shelter-In-Place Order Lifted At Three Hoboken Schools Following Burglary (Updated) A shelter-in-place order at three schools in Hoboken has been lifted following an attempted burglary, police said on Wednesday, June 21. Police had initially received a report of the burglary in a residential building on the 800 block of Willow Avenue and they attempted to track down a suspect, officers said. Community Rallies To Save Passaic County Deli Ingwersen's Delicatessen has been an institution in Passaic County since it opened in 1960.
