Danbury Physician, Practice Settle False Claims Act Allegations DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury psychiatrist Anton Fry, M.D. and CPC Associates, Inc. have entered into a civil settlement agreement with the federal government to pay $36,704 to settle claims they violated the False Claims Act.  According to Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, the government alleges that Fry and CPC Associates submitted improper Medicare claims for psychiatric services provided over the phone rather than in person. Tappan Zee Bridge Lanes Will Close For Repair Work The Thruway Authority announced pavement repair work that will require overnight northbound lane closures on I-87/I-287 from just south of Exit 9 (Tarrytown - Sleepy Hollow - US Route 9) to the approach of the Tappan Zee Bridge Wednesday evening. The closure will be between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday. Two northbound lanes will be closed to traffic to accommodate the repair work. Two northbound lanes will be open to traffic heading toward the Tappan Zee Bridge, and all three southbound lanes will remain open. Traffic impacts are expected to be minimal.

Man Injured At Norwalk Tattoo Parlor Dies NORWALK, Conn. -- A man found critically injured at a Norwalk tattoo parlor yesterday has died, according to News 12.
