Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Tractor-Trailer Flips, Concrete Slab Closes I-195 Ramp A tractor-trailer overturned and dumped a large concrete slab onto Interstate 195 during the morning rush hour, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:14 a.m. Tuesda-Feb. 14 on I-195 eastbound exit 28B to Roiute 9 in Howell Township, according to Sgt. Philip Curry, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. The driver was not injured., Curry said. The exit ramp remained closed at noon and would remain closed until the concrete slab can be lifted back onto the trailer, Curry said. A 46-year-old man from Middlesex County allegedly robbed a bank in Somerset County and then used the same taxi cab to flee. Police located the cab in North Brunswick and arrested Ivan M. Police Investigate Crash In Middletown Middletown police were investigating a crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13 at Main Street and Grace Avenue, Middletown police said. One driver had a complaint of pain and refused transport to a medical facility.  The other driver and her two children sustained minor injuries and were transported to Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank for treatment, police said. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, police said.
