Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Videographer Killed In Union County Crash A 61-year-old videographer was killed in a crash Friday,  on Route 22 in Mountainside. Darryl Damon, of Plainfield, was driving west around 6:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20 when he went off the highway and struck a utility pole, Mountainside police said. Damon was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant in a 1996 Mercedes Benz, police said. The crash occurred across from an AMC  movie theater near the Springfield border where the highway curves, police said. Man, 35, Shot Dead In Camden: Prosecutor A 35-year-old man was shot dead Monday, Jan. 23, in Camden, authorities said. Camden County police received a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire at 8:21 a.m. in the 1100 block of Lansdowne Avenue, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. On Jan. 19, the Atlantic City man was arrested and charged after stabbing another man.
