Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Brooklyn Man Admits Shooting Another Man In Atlantic City A 31-year-old man from Brooklyn has admitted to shooting another man in Atlantic City. Neil Henry pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, resisting arrest and a weapons offense, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Henry admitted that on Aug. 28, he shot a man with a handgun and fled on foot from police officers. The man’s injuries were non-life threatening.  At the time of his arrest, Henry was found to be in possession of a .40 caliber handgun which ballistics analysis confirmed he used during the shooting, the prosecutor said. 24-Year-Old Irishman Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train On Jersey Shore: Officials A 24-year-old man from Ireland was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train in Spring Lake last week, authorities said. Anthony Mulhearn, of Mulinavat, Ireland, was in the U.S. on a visa staying in Spring Lake when he was hit by a North Jersey Coast Line train at about 11:50 p.m. Thursday just south of the train station.
