Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

20-Year-Old Man Shot In Atlantic City: Police A 20-year-old man was shot in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Saturday, Dec. 10, at 11:32 PM, Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the 600 block of North New York Avenue for a report of a shots fired and a ShotSpotter alert notification.  Officers found the victim in a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire. The eatery was located at 2200 Route 35 in Oakhurst. “Thank you for calling Red Lobster. This location is closed. Bicyclist Struck, Killed On Jersey Shore A female bicyclist was struck and killed in Ocean Township, authorities said. On Friday, Dec. 9, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Ocean Township police were dispatched to Roller Road and Deal Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist.  Police found that a bicyclist had been struck at that intersection.
