Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Lakewood Woman Struck, Killed Outside Church Food Pantry Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred outside a Lakewood church food pantry. Dilcia Maribell Guevara-Tabora, 46, of Lakewood, was sitting on the curb near Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry when she was struck at about 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15,  Lakewood police said.  Two girls who were not related to the woman were injured.  A minivan was making a turn in the parking lot when the fatal crash occurred.  The driver, a 40-year-old Lakewood man, was ticketed for careless driving.

6 People Hurt When NJ Transit Bus Is Rear-Ended Six people including the driver were injured when a New Jersey Transit bus was rear-ended by another vehicle, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17 on bus route 508 at Atlantic and Chelsea avenues in Atlantic City, according to Jim Smith, a NJ Transit spokesman. The bus was stopped when it was struck from behind, Smith said. Twelve people were on board. Five riders plus the driver claimed minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, Smith said.
