Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Serious Car Crash Shuts Down Route 27 In Wayland Route 27 in Wayland is expected to be closed between four and eight hours after a crash that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries, Wayland Fire said on Twitter.  The department reported the crash, between a flatbed truck and an SUV, just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 28. Missing Saugus Senior With Dementia Found Safe: Police UPDATE: Saugus Police said Thai Tran was located safe. The Saugus Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing senior with dementia who may have taken a cab from his home.  Thai Tran, age 78, was last seen near his home in the area of Eastern Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, police said.  Authorities believe Tran may have travelled to Revere then took a cab to Somerville. Western Massachusetts Man Dies After Falling From 100-Foot Cliff, Reports Say A 20-year-old man from Agawam has died after calling from a 100-foot cliff in Southwick, multiple news outlets report. Southwick Police, Agawam Fire and Agawam Police all responded about a search of a person believed to be in a quarry on Provin Mountain around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, Western Mass News reports.  Police told the outlet the young man “was determined to have died due to injuries from a fall." At least a dozen emergency vehicles were reportedly on scene, WWLP reports.  The man's death remains under investigation.
