Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Drunk Boston Teenager Driving Scooter Wrong Way Strikes Police Cruiser A 16-year-old from East Boston was arrested after he drove his scooter into a Boston Police cruiser while drunk, authorities said.  The teenager was traveling the wrong down Helen Street onto Bernard Street in Dorchester when he struck the cruiser just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, Boston Police said.  In addition, a 16-year-old passenger from Jamaica Plain fled the scene on foot. 84-Year-Old Man Drowns At North Shore Beach, Report Says An 84-year-old man has died after he was pulled from the water in Lynn, CBS Boston reports. Police responded to a report of a person drowning at Lynn Beach shortly before 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, the outlet reports.  Upon arrival, crews gave the man medical aid before transporting him to Salem Hospital for further treatment.
