Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Annandale Driver Charged For Ramming Into Four Pedestrians, Killing One: Police A female driver has been charged in connection with a pedestrian-involved collision that took the life of an 83-year-old woman, authorities said. Potomac River Drowning Victim ID'd: Report Authorities have identified the man who drowned after jumping into the Potomac River near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge on Memorial Day as Jimmy Orlando Espinoza-Oviedo, NBC Washington reports. Police Cadet From DC Arrested For Alleged Gunpoint Robbery In Montgomery County: Report A 19-year-old police cadet from DC was taken into custody following an alleged gunpoint robbery in Montgomery County, NBC Washington reports. Christian Santos and his co-defendant allegedly pulled a gun on the victim while buying a pair of Jordan sneakers before driving away on Montrose Road in March, according to the report, which cites court documents. Body Of Boater Found, Friend Remains Missing After Going Over James River Dam The body of one of two women who went missing on Memorial Day after going over Bosher’s Dam on the James River Dam in Richmond has been found, WSET reports. America's Average Gas Price Hits Record High Of $4.67 The nationwide average price for gas has reached a record high of $4.67 per gallon, according to a report from AAA. This trumps the average price for regular gas a year ago, which was only $3.04, the report says. The price went up by 48 cents alone in the past month alone. To put that into perspective, it costs 32% more to fill up one's tank than on the day before Russia invaded Ukraine, WJZ reports. Baltimore Sues Ghost Gun Manufacturer The Same Day They Become Illegal In The State The City of Baltimore has filed a lawsuit against ghost gun manufacturer Polymer80 in efforts to deter persistent gun violence in the city, Mayor Brandon Scott announced Wednesday, June 1.
