Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

America's Average Gas Price Hits Record High Of $4.67 The nationwide average price for gas has reached a record high of $4.67 per gallon, according to a report from AAA.  This trumps the average price for regular gas a year ago, which was only $3.04, the report says.  The price went up by 48 cents alone in the past month alone. To put that into perspective, it costs 32% more to fill up one's tank than on the day before Russia invaded Ukraine, WJZ reports.  Each state's average price is $4.15 or higher with George having the lowest at $4.16, the outlet reports.
