Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Ronald Chester Pearson sexually assaulted a woman in the 2700 block of Kenton Place in Temple Hills on May 2, the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office said. The victim told police Pearson allegedly strangled and physically assaulted her while Pearson was trying to have sex with the victim, the office said. Juvenile, Adult Arrested For Shooting At Police Officer In Anne Arundel County: Police A juvenile and adult suspect have been arrested in connection with a police-involved shooting in Anne Arundel County, authorities said.  The teenager, along with 18-year-old Brian Bautista, were approached by a Special Police Officer at an MPD-owned impound lot in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday, May 17, Metropolitan Police said. The SPO questioned the suspects, who then fired shots at the officer, according to MPD. The officer then returned fire. No injuries were reported, MPD said. Bautista and the juvenile were charged accordingly. The investigation is ongoing.
