Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

DC Man Killed In Prince George's Hit-And-Run: Police A 29-year-old man from Washington DC was killed in a Prince George's County hit-and-run that happened over the weekend, authorities said. Sean Smallwood died after being struck in the 7700 block of Burnside Road after 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, Prince George's County Police said. Officers Behind Police-Involved Dundalk Shooting Won't Be Prosecuted: Report The Baltimore County Police officers who were suspended after a police-involved shooting in Dundalk last month will not be prosecuted, WJZ reports. Dead Baltimore County Music Teacher Was Recording People Without Their Knowledge: Police Numerous of recordings taken of people without their knowledge were recovered from the home of a deceased Baltimore County music instructor, authorities said. North Baltimore Shooting Upgraded To Homicide: Police A recent shooting in north Baltimore has been upgraded to a homicide, authorities said. Police responded to a reported shooting in the 500 block of East Coldspring Lane near York Road around 9:21 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, Baltimore Police said.
