Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

19-Year-Old Baltimore Man Shot In Broad Daylight: Police A 19-year-old man has been hospitalized after a daytime shooting in south Baltimore, authorities said.  Police responded to the shooting in the 700 block of Cherryhill Road around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, Baltimore Police said. Upon arrival, officers found the male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and his condition is unknown, police said. Baltimore County Man, 50, Killed In Rosedale Motorcycle Crash A 50-year-old man from Baltimore County has died after he colliding with a truck while riding his motorcycle, authorities said.  Mark Conklin was going north on Lillian Holt Drive in Rosedale when he collided with a Dodge Ram going the opposite direction around 11:40 a.m. on Sunday, April 17, Baltimore County Police said. Police said Conklin smashed into the vehicle as the truck was making a left turn in front of Conklin towards Trump Mill Road. Conklin was taken to a local hospital where he later died.  The investigation is ongoing.
