Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Pair Arrested After Drug Deal In Atlantic City: Police A pair of men were arrested after being observed making a drug deal, authorities said. On Thurday, April 13, Officer Gissell Garcia was conducting surveillance near Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues. Garcia observed Rahim Bobo and Justin McCausland engage in a drug transaction, Atlantic City police said. Bobo was in possession of 85 bags of heroin, more than five grams of cocaine, and cash. Man Struck, Killed On Motorized Wheelchair In South Jersey A 72-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a pickup truck in his motorized wheelchair, authorities said. Decesare Filippo, 72, of Millville, was on West Main Street at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 when he used a crosswalk at Riverside Drive, Millville police said.
