Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Man Killed In Crash Near Wantagh Intersection The identity has been released of a man killed in a crash between a pickup truck and motorcycle near a Long Island intersection. The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Sunday, June 19 in Wantagh. A male operating the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Wantagh Avenue when it was involved in the crash with a Ford F-150 near the intersection of Lea Ann Lane, Nassau County Police said. ID Released For 23-Year-Old Killed After Vehicle Hits Guard Rail, Tree In Seaford Police have released the identity of the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened around 7:50 a.m. Sunday, June 19 in Seaford southbound of Exit 1E on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. Officers arriving at the scene found the vehicle had hit the guard rail and then struck a tree, Nassau County Police said. Hudson Valley Roadway Reopens Following Hours-Long Closure After Serious Crash Updated story: One Killed, One Critically Injured After Stony Point Crash Involving Tree This story has been updated. A stretch of the Palisades Parkway has reopened after a serious crash reportedly involving a downed tree and a car.
