Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Duo In Custody After Shots Fired On Roadway In Region Two people are in custody after a report of shots fired on a roadway in the region overnight. The incident happened around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 in Rockland County. That's when Orangetown Police Department officers responded to the area of 49 West Central Ave. in Pearl River. As a result of the investigation, the Orangetown Police recovered a firearm and have the two people in custody. End-Of-Thanksgiving Weekend Storm Could Be First Of Several Snowmakers In Northeast A widespread storm at the end of Thanksgiving weekend from a Clipper system moving from west to east could be the first of several snowmakers in the Northeast in the days to come, according to a new report. One Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash At Long Island Intersection One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash at a Long Island intersection. It happened just before 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26 in Farmingdale, at the intersection of Clinton Street and Conklin Street. A 2011 Nissan X-terra was traveling westbound on Conklin Street and a 2006 Mercedes was traveling eastbound on Clinton Street at the time of the collision, Nassau County Police said. 26-Year-Old Firefighter Dies After Blaze Breaks Out At His Westchester Home A young firefighter died after a blaze broke out at his home in Westchester County on Thanksgiving morning. Sean Carroll was 26 years old. The fire began in the basement of the Carroll home in Thornwood in the early hours of Thursday, Nov. 25, according to authorities. Suspect Nabbed After Robbery At Long Island Lowe's A suspect has been apprehended after a robbery at a Long Island Lowe's home improvement store. On Friday, Nov. 26, at approximately 5 a.m., a manager from the Riverhead Lowe's location on Old Country Road contacted Riverhead Police to advise that upon reporting for work, he found the glass broken out in two of the front doors. Man Shot, Killed Outside His Long Island Home Police are investigating a shooting that killed a Long Island man overnight. The man was shot outside his Moriches residence on Friday, Nov. 26, at about 1 a.m. The victim, Tyrell Durham, age 37, who resided at Tall Oaks Circle, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead, Suffolk County Police said. Recall Issued For Antiperspirant Products Due To Cancer-Causing Chemical Antiperspirant products are being recalled because of a cancer-causing chemical.
