Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

It happened Wednesday, July 21 at around 11:40 a.m. in Wyandanch. Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call reporting that someone had been shot in the rear lot of 1527 Straight Path. Man Critically Injured Falling Off Ladder At Long Island Home A man was critically injured after falling off a ladder of a Long Island home. The incident happened Tuesday, July 20 at approximately 11:45 a.m. in the hamlet of West Hills in the Town of Huntington. Human Remains Found Near Long Island Parkway An investigation is underway after human remains were found near a busy Long Island roadway. Nassau County Police say the discovery was made around 9 a.m.on Tuesday, July 20 on the Meadowbrook Parkway in Uniondale. Megan Reusch, age 18, had last been seen at her Elmont home, operating a 1995 Green Subaru Legacy Monday, July 19, at 2 a.m., Nassau County Police said.  Missing Persons Squad detectives are now reporting that she has been located.
