Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

35-Year-Old Critically Injured In Long Island Expressway Crash One person suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 13 in Syosset. According to Nassau County Police detectives, a 35-year-old man driving a Lexus sedan was in a collision with a 54-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Porsche Macan traveling westbound on the expressway near exit 43. Man Dies After Vehicle Falls Off Overpass In Area A man died after his car fell from an overpass in the area. The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, June 13 in Rockland County. When Clarkstown Police arrived at the scene in Nanuet, they discovered the overturned vehicle in the eastbound lane near the median on Route 59. The sole passenger was declared dead at the scene.
