Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Long Island 29-Year-Old Who's Been Missing For A Week A 29-year-old Long Island man has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. Epifanio Colon, who stays in both East Islip and Brentwood, was reported missing on Monday, May 8 at approximately 8:20 p.m. after last being seen approximately 24 hours earlier, Suffolk County Police said. Man Facing Charges After Accidentally Shooting Himself At Westchester Gathering, Police Say A man is facing multiple charges after he accidentally shot himself at a gathering in Westchester, police said. New Rochelle Montefiore Hospital contacted New Rochelle Police to report a gunshot victim had walked into the emergency room at around 5:25 p.m. on Friday, May 14, said Captain Cosmo Costa of the New Rochelle PD. Long Island Woman Charged After Hit-Run Crash Seriously Injures Teen Bicyclist, Police Say A Long Island woman was apprehended after fleeing the scene following a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a teenage bicyclist, according to police. Man Accused Of Intentionally Starting Fire At Residence In Fairfield County, Police Say A man has been accused of intentionally igniting a fire at a residence in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out around 9:25 a.m. Saturday, May 15 at a bathroom in a multi-family home in New Canaan at 35 Millport Ave. The fire was no longer active when officers arrived at the scene, New Canaan Police said. Two Hospitalized After Sunrise Highway Crash Between State Police Cruiser, Motorcyclist Two people were hospitalized after a crash between a state police cruiser and a motorcyclist on Long Island. It happened on Friday, May 14 at approximately 6:50 a.m. on the eastbound Sunrise Highway (Route 27) in Southampton.
