Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Woman Killed, Man Seriously Injured In Murder, Attempted Suicide, Police Say Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman and attempted suicide of a man that occurred overnight on Long Island. Suffolk County Police First Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man and woman with gunshot wounds inside a Deer Park residence on Eastwood Avenue at approximately 8:50 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9. Covid-19: School In Westchester Dismisses Early Amid New Cases In District A school in Westchester closed early after being notified a student tested positive for COVID-19 amid new cases in the district. All students at the Washington Irving Intermediate School in Tarrytown were dismissed at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9 after the student tested positive. Covid-19: NY Suspends Country Club's Liquor License After Super Spreader A country club has had its liquor license suspended after hosting what New York State authorities described as a COVID-19 "super-spreader event." A wedding attended by 113 guests was held on Long Island at the North Fork Country Club, located in Cutchogue in Suffolk County, on Saturday, Oct. 17, violating pandemic-related gathering restrictions. Person Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train A person was killed after being struck by a Metro-North train overnight. The incident happened in Westchester County shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, just south of the Port Chester station, near the Kohl's Shopping Center. After trains were initially held at the scene, New Haven Line customers experienced delays of 45 to 50 minutes, according to Metro-North. Suspect At Large After Shooting Outside Long Island Apartment Complex An investigation is underway after an overnight shooting that seriously injured a man near a Long Island apartment complex. The 22-year-old man was shot outside Fairfield at Selden, an apartment complex located at 111 College Road, at approximately 8:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, Suffolk County Police said.
