Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The closure, announced just after 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, is in East Islip on Main Street from Carleton Avenue to William Avenue due to the leak in front of the American Legion, located at 3 Bayview Ave., Suffolk County Police said. Long Island Man Charged After Fatal Crash A man has been arrested after a motor vehicle crash killed a man on Long Island, police said. Donald Artis, 56, of Ridge, was driving a 2000 Pontiac in Holtsville southbound on North Ocean Avenue at Fox Ridge Drive when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2004 Ford pickup on Thursday, June 18 at about 10 a.m., Suffolk County Police said. The Ford pickup was driven by Craig Smith, according to police. Artis lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.
