Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Woman Seriously Injured In Single-Vehicle Long Island Crash Two people were injured, one seriously, after a car crashed into a tree overnight on a residential Long Island street. It happened on Wednesday, May 27 at approximately 7:40 p.m. in Huntington. Richard Scholem, 88, of Huntington, was driving a 2009 Nissan Altima eastbound on La Rue Drive when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the tree, Suffolk County Police said. College Student Wanted For String Of Killings Apprehended A college student from Fairfield County wanted for a string of killings, a home invasion and a kidnapping been apprehended. Peter Manfredonia, 23, a 2015 Newtown High School graduate, was apprehended in Hagerstown, Maryland Wednesday night, May 27 after five days on the run.
