Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Missing Long Island Man Found Update: A 66-year-old Long Island man who went missing earlier this week has been found. Martin Menist had last been seen leaving his Wantagh residence on Wedgewood Lane on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 7:30 p.m., Nassau County Police said. Long Island Man Dies In Vermont Skiing Crash, Police Say A Long Island man died after hitting a tree while skiing in New England. It happened on Saturday, Dec. 28 at approximately 3 p.m. at the Killington Resort in Vermont. Nassau County resident Jason Vitale, 48, of Baldwin, was traveling at a high rate of speed on an intermediate trail when he lost control and collided with the tree, according to Vermont State Police. Vitale, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was quickly moved off the mountain by members of the Killington Ski Patrol, state police said. Fairfield Man Accused Of Threatening Westport Juvenile A Fairfield man was arrested for allegedly threatening a juvenile in Westport. It happened on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Westport Police said. At about 5:10 p.m. on Christmas Eve, officers responded to a Westport residence on a threatening complaint. The complainant alleged that Joseph Tatusko, 65, had made a verbal threat of a serious nature to the juvenile via telephone, according to police. Third Suspect Nabbed For Stealing More Than $260K In Goods From LI Bloomingdale's, Police Say Police have now charged a third suspect in connection with more than $260,000 in thefts from a Bloomingdale's on Long Island. The suspects were responsible for multiple larcenies on multiple dates over the course of a year at the store in East Garden City. Nassau County Police said. Fire Breaks Out At Commercial Building In Norwalk A fire broke out at a commercial building in Norwalk overnight. The fire in the single-story structure at 108 Connecticut Ave., began around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, Deputy Chief Edward Prescott of the Norwalk Fire Department said. Two-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out In Area A late-afternoon, two-alarm house fire broke out on the third story of a residence in the area. It happened just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 in Mahopac on Nicole Way. Small Plane Crash Causes Southern State Parkway Lane Closures Two lanes on a stretch of the Southern State Parkway were closed after a small plane crashed into the adjacent woods on Long Island. It happened in East Farmingdale between exits 32 and 33 around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, near the intersection of routes 109 and 110 and the Republic Airport.
