Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car On Long Island A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car overnight on Long Island. It happened at around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 in Brentwood, according to Suffolk County Police. Alejo Surpicio, 51, of Brentwood, was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry southbound on Washington Avenue, south of Heyward Street, when his vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was attempting to cross the avenue from west to east. Ex-Reality TV Host Sentenced For Molesting Daughter's 10-Year-Old Soccer Teammate In His Home A former reality TV show host who was convicted of molesting a 10-year-old girl during a sleepover at his Connecticut house has been sentenced. Christopher Dionne hosted the pilot episode of home improvement network HGTV's “Family Flip" and appeared in the A&E show “House Rescue” in California when police began the investigation. Dionne was found guilty of risk of injury to a minor and sexual assault in the New London, Connecticut Judicial District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 16.for the Nov. 26, 2017 abuse. 19-Year-Old Exchange Student Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle On Long Island A 19-year-old exchange student was seriously injured after being struck by a car overnight on Long Island. It happened on Friday, Dec. 13 at approximately 10:40 p.m. in Huntington Station. Sung Hyun Bae was walking in the middle of the roadway in front of 109 East Pulaski Road with two other pedestrians when he was struck by an eastbound 2019 Dodge sedan, Suffolk County Police said. Woman Critically Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle In Hartsdale A woman was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle while walking across a busy roadway in Westchester. It happened at approximately 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 in Hartsdale. The 71-year-old woman was struck as she was walking across East Hartsdale Avenue in the vicinity of 50 East Hartsdale Avenue, Greenburgh Police said. Officers who were called to the scene observed the victim lying injured in the roadway of the eastbound lane of East Hartsdale Avenue. Woman Struck, Killed By SUV At Busy Long Island Intersection A woman died after being struck by an SUV at a busy intersection on Long Island overnight. It happened around 10:47 p.m. in Massapequa Park, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, while attempting to cross Sunrise Highway (Route 27) at the intersection of Carol Drive, the elderly woman was struck by an eastbound 2005 Chevy Tahoe. ID Released For Woman Killed In Southern State Parkway Crash A woman who was killed during a single-vehicle crash on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island has been identified by New York State Police.
