Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Business Owner In Northern Westchester Dies At Age 44 A business owner who was a lifelong resident of the area has died. Putnam County resident Gregory A. "J.R." Coccaro, of Mahopac, was 44 years. A Westchester County native, he was born in Sleepy Hollow on Jan. 2, 1979, the son of Gregory T. and Debra Ann (Servello) Coccaro. He was an owner of North State Custom in Bedford Hills, an auto collision repair facility that specializes in high end vehicle repair. Sea Lion Briefly Escapes From Central Park Zoo During Rainstorm Record-breaking rainfall from a slow-moving coastal storm system resulted in dangerous flooding and travel nightmares in and around New York City on Friday, Sept. 29. Massive Test Of Emergency Alert System Set For This Week: Here's When, What To Know Now It will only be a test, but it will be a big one. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) this week.
