Lane Closures To Affect Stretch Of Taconic State Parkway In Yorktown Motorists who regularly travel on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester are being warned of upcoming lane closures that will slow down traffic.  Two lanes of the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown between Exit 17B (Bear Mountain Parkway) and Exit 14 (Baldwin Road) are scheduled to close on Thursday, Aug. 31, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The closures will last between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and will facilitate guide rail repairs, officials said.

Man's Body Found At Shopping Plaza In Peekskill Authorities are investigating after a man's body was found at a shopping plaza in Northern Westchester.  The body was found on Tuesday, Aug. 29 just before 10 a.m., when authorities responded to the Crossroads Plaza located at 1101 Main St. (Route 6) in Peekskill, according to Peekskill Police Lt. Adam Renwick.  There, police found a deceased man on the property of the plaza, who has not yet been identified, Renwick said.
