Police ID Man Shot To Death In Springfield; Suspect Remains At Large Police in Hampden County have released the name of the man who was shot on Monday, June 19, and died a day later in the hospital, authorities said. Shawn Delgado, 31, of Springfield, was found shot in the 600 block of State St, Springfield police said. Community Rallies Around 91-Year-Old Central Mass Man Who Lost Beloved Dog After Fire A fundraiser for a 91-year-old Worcester County man has raised enough money to help him rebuild his life after a fire destroyed his home and took everything he owned, a fundraiser for the man said. Leo Lafreniere of Petersham could do little to stop the inferno that began in his kitchen and swept through the rest of his home in late May. Police On Hunt For Man Accused Of Stealing From CT Store Police in Windham County are asking for the public's help to identify a man they say shoplifted from a store in Putnam. Missing Woman Found Safe In Western Mass After Family Feared The Worst The search for a missing 32-year-old Southwick woman had a happy ending on Wednesday, June 21, after she disappeared a day earlier. Katherine Korobkov's mother said she left her home around 3:30 p.m. to go on a long ride on her new bike, but she never returned.
