Suspect Caught After Hudson Valley Woman Stabbed To Death, Police Say A suspect has been arrested just a day after a Hudson Valley woman was found stabbed to death in her home. The homicide took place in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 11:30 p.m., Friday, May 27. The woman's body was found after police and fire responded to a home at 7 South Grand Ave., for an unresponsive 64-year-old woman, said Det. Sgt. Terrence Beam, of the City of Poughkeepsie Police. Woman Charged For Fake Amazon Workers Shelton Home Invasion A Fairfield County woman has been charged in an alleged home invasion where the suspects dressed as Amazon workers. The home invasion took place in New Haven County on Monday, Jan. 10 in Milford. On Sunday, May 22, Milford Police arrested the Shelton woman, identified as Dominique Jackson, age 25, for allegedly taking part in the crime. New TBZ Jumper Pulled To Safety By Officers Who 'Rappelled' Over Side, Police Say This story has been updated. A man who attempted to jump from the new Tappan Zee Bridge was rescued by troopers and a special police unit who rappelled over the side of the bridge and pulled him up with ropes. Domenic Sarno, the owner of Red Rose Pizzeria in Springfield, died this week. Threat Leads To Lockdown At Schools In Hudson Valley After Student 'Jokes' About Having Gun A junior high school and an elementary school were placed in lockdown in the Hudson Valley after a student "joked" about having a gun.
