Arrest Made In Murder Of Hudson Valley Man During Facebook Marketplace Purchase
A suspect has been charged in the murder of a Hudson Valley man who was shot in broad daylight attempting to purchase a motorcycle off Facebook Marketplace.
The incident took place in the Bronx around 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, May 18 at East 144th and Exterior streets in Mott Haven, said the NYPD.
Manuel Reyes, age 23, of the Bronx, was arrested on Sunday, May 22, and charged with murder, manslaughter, and assault in connection to the murder of Rockland County resident Jefferson Jimenez Hernandez, age 20, the NYPD said.

Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Car Crashes Into Tree In Area
An area man was seriously injured during a single-car Hudson Valley crash on Route 44.
The crash took. place in Dutchess County in the town of North East around 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 23.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a 1964 Oldsmobile sedan driven by Columbia County resident Edward M. Ferrato, age 69, of Ancram, was traveling westbound on Route 44 near the state line when he lost control, after which the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, said Capt. John Watterson, of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

16-Year-Old Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of Fairfield Prep Student-Athlete Posts $2M Bond
The 16-year-old accused of fatally stabbing a Fairfield Prep student-athlete is free after posting a $2 million bond.
Raul “Lito” Valle, of Milford, posted the bond on Monday, May 23, according to the Milford Superior Court Clerk.
Valle is charged with the stabbing murder in Shelton of James "Jimmy" McGrath, a football and lacrosse player at Fairfield College Preparatory School, on Saturday, May 14 during a fight in front of a residence and injuring three others, authorities said.
