Woman Found Dead Inside Car In Western Mass Police in Western Massachusets are investigating after a woman was found shot to death in a car and a man was found shot a short distance away. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 28 in Hampden on East Alvord Street in Springfield. The news about the kittens was first posted to Facebook by a New Haven County poster who said the kittens had been dumped in Naugatuck. Here's How Many Were Charged With DUI Over Thanksgiving Weekend, CT State Police Say As the busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend comes to a close, Connecticut State Police announced how many arrests they made for DUI, along with the number of accidents investigated and fatalities. As of 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, the department arrested 50 drivers for driving under the influence, the department said. They also responded to 543 accidents with 46 reported injuries and one fatality on state roads. The one fatality, which took the life of a 20-year-old East Hartford man, occurred in Hartford County on Route 2 early on Thanksgiving Day.

Shaolin James Bell, age 19,  of Hempstead, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 20 in Uniondale, said the Nassau County Police. Man Nabbed For Pointing Handgun At Another Person In Area, Police Say A man has been arrested after he allegedly was seen by police pointing a handgun at another person in the area. Dutchess County resident Antwann Mayo, age 42, of the City of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 4, after he was found hiding in a laundry room after fleeing from officers.
