Man Nabbed For Series Of Commercial Burglaries In Fairfield, New Haven Counties, Police Say A Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with a series of alleged commercial burglaries in Fairfield County. New Haven County resident James Aspinwall, age 45, of Seymour, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 4 by Shelton Police. CT Man Who Allegedly Threatened To Blow Up An Apartment Nabbed By Police A Connecticut man who threatened to hurt himself and blow up an apartment has been arrested, police said. The incident took place on Tuesday, Sept. 21, when Milford Police responded to a 65 Railroad Avenue on the report of a male threatening to harm himself and blow up the apartment he was in. Numerous People Rescued After Residential Fire Breaks Out In Fairfield County Numerous residents were rescued from an apartment fire in Fairfield County. The fire started around 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 5, at 1130 Williams St. in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport. One Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash In Region A driver in Western Massachusetts has died of his injuries after a two-car crash. The crash took place around 4:20 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, on Verge Street in Springfield. Man Admits To Rape Of Employee At Sub Shop In Area A man has pleaded guilty to the rape of an employee at a Jersey Mike's Sub store. Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh announced the guilty plea on Friday, Nov. 5, by a Paterson New Jersey man which stems from a December 2019 incident. Woman Charged After Bicyclist Killed In Crash In Region A Western Massachusetts woman who struck and killed a bicyclist will face charges of negligent motor vehicle homicide, authorities said. Trio Nabbed After Police Officer Hit By Car In CT Walmart Shoplifting Incident A call to police for a shoplifting incident ended with an officer being hit and seriously injured and three people behind bars.
