'Dominick The Donkey' Rescued On Christmas Eve In Philly Suburbs Westtown-East Goshen police pulled off a Christmas Eve search-and-rescue that called to mind a familiar tune.  "Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey" was spotted wandering alone near Greentree Drive in Thornbury Township on Dec. 24, the department said in a release.  Officers said they made contact with the donkey's owners and together tracked him down a short time later. Elderly Pedestrian Critically Hurt In Delco Crash: Police A senior is in the hospital after police said he was hit by a car in Marple Township on Saturday morning, Dec. 23.  The elderly man was crossing Broomall Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle near West Chester Pike around 10:20 a.m., township police said in a release.  He was rushed to Lankenau Hospital where he was placed in critical condition, authorities wrote. The driver remained on-scene and police said they are cooperating with investigators.  Marple police and Delaware County detectives are investigating, the release adds.

Teens Armed With Hammers Wanted For 'Highway Robbery': Philadelphia PD Police in Philadelphia are looking for four teens who they say carried out a robbery spree while armed with hammers.  The five confirmed thefts took place on Wednesday, Dec. 20 and Thursday, Dec. 21 in the northeast and northwest sections of the city, the department said.  All four suspects are thought to be between 13 and 16 years old and wore the same clothes in all five incidents, investigators said.
